Are you interested in donating a horse to Parsons Mounted Cavalry?

Upon donation, you acknowledge your contribution of the horse as an unrestricted gift, to Parsons Mounted Cavalry. In the donation, you are giving up all rights and future claims to this animal. We ask that you provide a copy of any Registration papers (if applicable) and a current negative Coggins Test Certification.

Your horse will be used in Parsons Mounted Cavalry programs. When horses are no longer needed, they are sold and the proceeds are used to support Parsons Mounted Cavalry. We cannot guarantee a selling price before we sell a horse, nor can we guarantee the right of re-purchase to the original owner.

The TAMU Vet School conducts a pre-donation exam for soundness and we conduct a series of behavioral and riding evaluations to determine suitability for our program.

Horses are accepted on a 30 day trial period from the date of delivery. If for any reason the horse proves unacceptable for Cavalry work, the donor agrees to pick the horse up at PMC facilities in College Station, TX, within 7 days from date of notification.

You or your representative must make the determination of value of your donation for IRS purposes. Parsons Mounted Cavalry cannot attest to any appraised value assigned to any horse.
