Fiddler's Green

The home of the Cav is a 27-acre plot on FM 2818 in College Station, Texas known as "Fiddler's Green," the legendary ol' army cavalry term for a cavalryman's true home. It's usually simply called "The Green." The Green includes fenced pastures, a catch pen, barn, tack building, office, hay barn, and cannon garage. The cadets maintain all the facilities.

The tack building, office, and cannon garage were erected by the University. The rest of the facilities were constructed by the cadets throughout the years by donations of money and materials from PMC supporters.

Horses

All of the horses used by PMC belong to the University. There are 25-30 horses for the troop and artillery half-section. The cadets are responsible for horse care.
